Artist Comes Full Circle

American Tattoo has a rich history of talented artists, which over the years some have come and gone.

Starting June 1, 2010 Dawn Purnell will be a guest artist for the summer. Dawn apprenticed under former owner of American Tattoo, Ira Handlon, in Omaha. From there Dawn traveled to many cities through out the United States.

In 1998, Dawn settled in Sante Fe New Mexico. After many successful years of tattooing, Dawn opened her own custom tattoo shop called Dawn's Custom Tattoo.

It has been 12 years since Dawn tattooed in Omaha but fortunate for us and our clients, she will officially come full circle this summer at American Tattoo.

Please join us in welcoming Dawn back to the family for the summer.
